Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum

Distilled and aged 5 years in Guyana at Demerara Distillers Limited and bottled in the US by Ed Hamilton without adding any sugar. Perfect cocktail rum for any recipe that calls for Demerara Rum. Dark and rich with fruity, spicy, tobacco and wood notes. 

Queen’s Park Swizzle
2oz Hamilton 86 Demerara Rum
1oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
.75oz Demerara Gum Syrup
Small Handful of Mint Leaves
4 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Add the first 4 ingredients to a collins glass. Lightly muddle the mint to express the oils but not destroy the leaves. Top with crushed ice and using a barspoon or chickenfoot swizzler, swizzle the drink until the side of the glass begins to get frosty. Top the drink with more crushed ice and mound the top. Garnish with a couple of mint sprig tops and add the dashes of Angostura Bitters to the mounded ice on top.
