Description

The name Aquavit is derived from the Latin aqua vitae, meaning water of life. Aquavit is a traditional Scandinavian liquor. Its production is similar to gin, but instead of juniper as the dominant flavor, caraway is featured.

The savory taste of caraway blends with tangy dill and cool lemony licorice flavors from the locally grown lemon and fennel. It is best served slightly chilled or in a cocktail as an interesting replacement for gin.
